This mod is complete rewrite and replacement for Classic Sprinting, as it was way too complicated to use, had a lot of issues and wasn't very reliable. If you used that mod please remove it prior installing this.

This mod will make the sprinting work the same way as it did in old Skyrim. What it makes different from other similar mods that this will modify the code directly, so it doesn't rely on external scripts anymore. It works with keyboards and controllers too.

To install simply put the contents to your Skyrim's Data folder, or use your Mod Manager. SKSE is required.

Recommended mod that is fully compatible: Sprint Jump SSE by aers.
