 - 在欧洲5个地点(Tondela D,Milan C,Guildford B,Munich C,Ardennes,Tondela B,Milan B,Guildford A和Munich B)举行了9场比赛。

Grooved Cortes

 - 按地区划分的全球16场比赛(迪拜D,多哈B,黑海D,里约热内卢C,Pheonix E,温哥华C,慕尼黑D,米兰A,阿登,吉尔福德A,Tondela A,北京A,横滨A ,新加坡,开普敦和悉尼)。

Slick Brutus

Description:

This Mod replaces the three default single-seat open-wheel championships in the game with alternate versions. These are focussed on the use of different championship rules and races held on previously unscheduled track layouts.

No DLC required / No changes to GT DLC / Tutorial Compatible

It does not modify any of the teams or aim to introduce any of the ‘real F1’ features of many Mods. It is intended to retain the unlicensed, alternate reality feel of the MM base game while providing a different career start and in-game experience for players of all experience levels. Ultimately I hope it will be part of an integrated package of ‘ErrantSword’ Mods that can be activated or deactivated to provide a variety of balanced options.

The Mod comes complete with new Championship logos and intro screens / videos, and as with all such Mods will only take effect when you start a new career with it enabled.

The three new Championships are as follows:

Tier 3 – European Racecar Series (ERC)

A simplified, pure racing experience featuring reverse grids and fixed prize money, promoting overall equality. Good drivers, rapid tyre stops and successful fuel management are thus the key to success. Part development is somewhat restricted by Spec Engines and Spec Brakes, placing the emphasis on improving design facilities.

– 9 races held at the 5 European locations (Tondela D, Milan C, Guildford B, Munich C, Ardennes, Tondela B, Milan B, Guildford A and Munich B).

– A delayed start and early finish of 2 weeks each. While primarily intended to maintain the gaps between race weekends, these allow some time to work on your entry-level components and more time for off-season development.

– Revised Championship rules as follows:

Long Practice Sessions (20 mins)

Reverse Championship grids (with Medium-length Qualifying Sessions if voted in)

Short Races

60mph Pit Speed limit, 6-person pit crews

No refuelling

2 Pre-determined Dry tyre compounds, with 9 sets in total

Low-profile Brutus performance tyres

Points for all Drivers (20pts down to 1pt), with no Bonus points

Physical Safety Cars only

Spec Engines, Spec Brakes and no Driver Aids

Equality-focused prize money

Tier 2 – APAC Super Cup (APAC)

A more advanced formula, where junior teams are still supported but points are harder to come by. Greater strategic planning is required to utilise several high-endurance tyre and 80kg fuel tanks, promoting limited pit stops in most instances. Part development options are increased with the removal of Spec Brakes.

– 12 races held at the 6 Asia / Pacific locations (Singapore, Pheonix D, Vancouver C, Yokohama C, Bejing E, Pheonix A, Vancouver B, Yokohama B, Bejing C, Pheonix C, Vancouver A and Sydney).

– A delayed start of 2 weeks, with the season-end coinciding with the WGP.

– Revised Championship rules as follows:

Medium-length Practice Sessions (15 mins)

Random grids (with Medium-length Qualifying Sessions if voted in)

Medium-length Races

60mph Pit Speed limit, 6-person pit crews

Refuelling of 80kg tanks

3 Pre-determined Dry tyre compounds, with 9 sets in total

Grooved Cortes endurance tyres

Points fo the Top 10 Drivers, plus 2 Bonus points for Fastest Lap

Physical and Virtual Safety Cars

Spec Engines, no Driver Aids

Merit-focussed prize money, £250k per race support for 10th placed team

Tier 1 – World Grand Prix (WGP)

The top tier, where the fastest cars compete for limited points and ultimate glory. Prize money is hard to come by, although promoted teams receive a one-time bonus payment. Short practice sessions before Qualifying, small fuel tanks, and significant tyre choices combine to provide a full strategic challenge. Part development options are unrestricted (with the exception of Driver Aids).

– 16 races held worldwide, scheduled by region (Dubai D, Doha B, Black Sea D, Rio de Janeiro C, Pheonix E, Vancouver C, Munich D, Milan A, Ardennes, Guildford A, Tondela A, Bejing A, Yokohama A, Singapore, Cape Town and Sydney).

– Revised Championship rules as follows:

Short-length Practice Sessions (12 mins)

Medium-length Qualifying Sessions (10 mins)

Long Races

40mph Pit Speed limit, full pit crews

Refuelling of 40kg tanks

3 Dry tyre compounds, with free choice across 12 sets

Slick Brutus performance tyres

Points fo the Top 8 Drivers, plus 2 Bonus points for Pole Position

Virtual Safety Cars only

No Driver Aids

Highly merit-focussed prize money, £10m promotion bonus

Known Issues

Championship Selection screen maps cannot be updated and show unused locations.

Part Restrictions have been set to ‘Design Centre’ as this line is set by unknown PSG values.

Base-game trophies cannot be updated (although Championship names have intentionally been kept similar).

Starting Team descriptions may mention WMC, APS and/or ERS. However, to change this requires a sperate database change, and decreases compatibility with other Mods.

Players without the GT mod may receive the default 15 sets of tyres, as the 9-set rule is potentially exclusive to the GT series DLC.

It is not possible to use Spec Gearboxes without breaking the Tutorial – as such I have opted for Spec Brakes in the ERC, as opposed to a fully Spec Powertrain as originally planned.

Graphics and Video-quality limited to freeware editors, codecs, etc (most notably .bik rather than .bk2)
