The Persistant World mod is fun, but the map that comes with the game is very resource intensive, doing to being huge and filled with props.

I tried to make it smoother to run by deleting the majority of the trees. I also deleted some duplicate props in the same area (like multiple haystacks in the stables).

The terrain and layout are unchanged.

The result is a very noticeable increase in FPS (I went from a low of around 24 fps to a low of 35 fps).

Note: You can only use this if you run a server. Unless you do, you'll need to convince whoever does run the server that they should run this map. With the new map downloading, everyone who joins will automatically DL the new version and be able to play. If you play on a server with this map and haven't downloaded it, it should not overwrite the original file (according to some testing I did).

How to use; 

Download. 

Make a backup of your "scn_multi_scene_1.sco" file in your "modulesPWMOD_v3SceneObj" folder.

Rename the downloaded file from "scn_multi_scene_1_optimized.sco" to "scn_multi_scene_1.sco"

Replace the "scn_multi_scene_1.sco" file in your 'modulesPWMOD_v3SceneObj' folder with the downloaded file.

Done!
